Mounts and vehicles are two means of fast transportation.

Mounts require feeding to restore their stamina or if they remain idle they will slowly regenerate. When a mount dies, it is not lost. You simply have to heal it back to health.

If you are unable or unwilling to retrieve your mount from where it was left, visit the stable manager and ask for your mount to be "towed" - of course this will incur a small fee.

Mount Categories

All vehicles fall into one of four categories: combat, cargo, alternative fuel, and high efficiency.

  • Combat: Allows weapon use.
  • Cargo: Highest cargo capacity.
  • Alternative Fuel: Uses an easier way of obtaining fuel.
  • High Efficiency: Highest fuel efficiency.

Some vehicles can be hybrids of more than one type. If a vehicle is not a combat vehicle you cannot attack while using it.[1]

Refueling

Each bag of feed or container of other fuels refills your mount's stamina pool by 16000 stamina points.[2]

Horses

Horses can be purchased from horse dealers, found along side garages just outside of most towns. They can also be trained using the Nature tradeskill.
