Greetings, friend, and welcome to Thorne's Bluff. I'm the head agriculturalist for the settlement. Our job is to work the lands and farm crops for food. The agriculturalists use wide and varied techniques to do this, some more advanced than others, but never anything that would harm the environment.

We also use our abundant supply of food to trade with our allies, and we assume some of these goods go to our enemies as well, eventually. We're okay with this, since it's not our goal to starve our enemies, but to educate them.
It's rare to see altruism in action these days.
Perhaps they can see the error of their ways in every bite they take of the goods we produce. As you might have guessed, we tend to work rather closely with the Caretakers.

As an agriculturalist I do a lot of farming, and, well...that requires fertilizer. I find that mutant beetles around here manufacture the best fertilizer. If you could gather some of their dung for me that would be most helpful.
