You open the book, which is titled "LOST CITY OF GOLD."
Chapter 1:
G.E. Kincaid reported that in 1909 he discovered a city more than 1,000 feet below the ground in the Grand Canyon.
Although largely discounted as a hoax, Kincaid insisted that the ancient subterranean city was used by inhabitants of the region to survive a great flood.
Chapter 2:
The city's architecture and design appeared to be heavily influenced by Egyptian and Oriental cultures.
Kincaid told reporters that mummified remains, pottery, and golden idols were among the priceless artifacts found in the ancient city.
Chapter 3:
Kincaid told a newspaper at the time that he emerged from the city with relics that gave proof of its existence.
However, the relics are now lost - if they ever existed at all.
Chapter 4:
It is believed that the town is lost to the sands of time, buried beneath the scenic landscape of the Grand Canyon, never to be discovered again.
